Your photo is personal. We treat it that way.
A try-on app only works if you trust it with your image. Here is exactly what SKANAJO stores, how long it is kept, how it is protected, and how you remove it - written plainly, with no overclaiming.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Your photo and the data derived from it are encrypted while moving between your device and our systems, and while stored. Nothing sensitive sits in the clear.
Scoped access
Access to personal image data is limited to the systems that render your try-ons and the score. It is never a shared profile, and it is not sold.
Deletion you control
You can delete your photo and derived data at any time. Deletion removes it from our active systems, not just from your view of the app.
Consent by default
Your photo is only ever used to render try-ons for you. We do not repurpose it for anything you have not explicitly asked for.
Exactly what we hold, and why
No hidden collection. These are the things SKANAJO keeps, each for a clear reason.
Kept while you use it, gone when you say so
Your photo and derived data are retained while your account is active because they power every try-on. When you delete an item, a look, or your whole account, the associated image data is removed from our active systems.
We do not keep personal image data longer than it is needed to provide the service you asked for.
Where we are today
We build to recognised data-protection principles - data minimisation, purpose limitation, and user control over deletion. Given the sensitivity of personal image data, those are treated as requirements, not extras.
We describe our posture as it actually stands today and update this page as it advances, rather than claiming certifications we have not completed.
Try it on, on your terms
One secure photo, reused across every try-on, deletable whenever you choose. Skan yourself when you are ready.
